Mixed ion exchanger
The mixed ion exchanger produced by our factory is divided into three types: internal regeneration type, anion resin transfer out regeneration type and resin transfer out regeneration type. The equipment specification is the same, and the connection method is different. The cation resin regenerator and anion resin regeneration separator are required for the anion resin transfer and regeneration type.

1. The anion anion exchanger is also called double bed. It puts anion and cation in different tanks. The cation removes the cation in the water, and the replaced hydrogen ion is neutralized with the oxygen ion replaced by the anion bed to achieve the purpose of desalting.
2. The mixed ion exchanger is also called mixed bed. Put the anion and cation in the same tank. Generally, the ratio of anion to cation is 2:1. Because the exchange capacity of cation is 2 times of that of anion, the volume of anion is 2 times of that of cation, so as to achieve equal exchange capacity and synchronous regeneration of time
Advantages and disadvantages of two kinds of ion exchanger:
Generally, there are many resins in the double bed, and the exchange capacity is large. The H-ion and oh ion in the mixed bed water immediately generate water molecules with low degree of ionization, which can make the exchange reaction very thorough, so the water quality of the effluent is relatively good, so the mixed bed is generally set after the first level of double bed, and the water quality is further purified. When the water quality requirement is not high, it can also be used alone.
Working principle of ion exchanger：
Operation time: Cation resin (H-R) + (M +) -- >: (M-R) + (H +)
Anion resin (oh-r) + (x -) - >: (X-R) + (OH -)
Where M + is metal ion and X - is anion.
2. Regeneration is the reverse process.
Ion exchange technology is widely used in the field of water treatment. As a sodium ion exchanger for water quality softening, it is mainly used for water treatment of medium and low pressure boilers. Ion exchange desalination equipment is mainly used for the preparation of pure water and high-purity water. Ion exchange equipment is suitable for medicine, chemical industry, electronics, coating, beverage, high pressure boiler water supply and many other industrial sectors.
The mixed bed is generally placed behind the electrodialysis device or reverse osmosis device (or directly applied to water with low salt content). Further desalination of water can produce higher pure water, which is widely used in electronic, chemical, pharmaceutical, atomic energy, electric power and other industries.
Structure and performance:
The shell of the mixed bed is made of fiberglass, plexiglass, stainless steel, carbon steel, anticorrosion, etc. the outer shape is cylindrical, with a diameter of Φ 200-2500mm and a water yield of 0.5t/h-98t/h. The cation bed is loaded with strong acid cation exchange resin, and the anion bed is loaded with strong alkali anion exchange resin. The loading height is always 1000-2400 mm. There is no supporting layer at the bottom of small cap type equipment, and there is a multi-level quartz sand supporting layer with different particle size at the bottom of large and medium-sized equipment (this is not recommended at present, because the quartz sand and acid will have chemical reaction during acid pickling, which will affect the water quality) The top layer of resin in the fixed bed of flow regeneration has a 200 mm thick resin layer (special resin is used to cover the resin below). The operating pressure of plexiglass column is ≤ 0.15Mpa, and that of other materials is ≤ 0.6MPa. Cation bed is equipped with acid tank and acid pump regeneration system, while anion bed is equipped with alkali tank and alkali pump regeneration system.
2 kinds of water inlet ways to operate the system:
The softener (softener treated water) inlet water and the primary desalting (reverse osmosis treated water) inlet water are respectively controlled by their respective control valves. During operation, start desalting water inlet control valve, water inlet valve, water production valve, and other valves shall be closed! Close the water inlet valve and water production valve for mixed bed backwashing; open the backwashing water inlet valve and backwashing discharge valve, and backwash for 15min at 10m / h. Then, close the backwash water inlet valve and backwash discharge valve. Stand still and settle for 5-10min. Open the exhaust valve and middle drain valve, drain some water to about 10cm above the resin layer surface, and close the exhaust valve and middle drain valve.
Open the water inlet valve, acid adding pump, acid inlet valve and middle discharge valve for regeneration, regenerate the cation resin at 5m / s and 200L / h, clean the anion resin with the water produced by reverse osmosis, and maintain the liquid level in the column 10cm above the resin layer surface. After the regeneration of the cation resin for 30 minutes, close the water inlet valve, acid adding pump and acid inlet valve, open the backwash water inlet valve, alkali adding pump and alkali inlet valve, regenerate the anion resin at 5 m / s and 200 L / h, clean the cation resin with the water produced by reverse osmosis, maintain the liquid level in the column on the resin layer surface for 10 cm, and regenerate for 30 minutes. Replace, mix grease, wash, close the alkali pump and alkali inlet valve, open the water inlet valve, and water up and down at the same time to replace and clean the resin. After 30min, close the water inlet valve, backwash water inlet valve and middle discharge valve, open the backwash discharge valve, air inlet valve and exhaust valve, with the pressure of 0.1-0.15mpa, air volume of 2-3m3 / (M2 · min), and mixed resin of 0.5-5min. Close the backwashing discharge valve and air inlet valve, and settle for 1-2min. Open the water inlet valve, the washing discharge valve, adjust the exhaust valve, fill water until there is no air in the column, then close the exhaust valve and wash the resin. When the conductivity meets the requirements, open the production water valve, close the washing discharge valve and start water production.
Ion exchange is a special solid adsorption process, which is carried out in the electrolyte solution of ion exchanger. According to the types of ions exchanged, ion exchanger can be divided into two categories: cation exchanger and anion exchanger. The ion exchange mixed bed is a deep desalination equipment, which is used to manufacture high-purity water. The water production resistivity is 10-18m Ω? Cm (25C), and the silica content (SiO2) is less than or equal to 0.02mg/l, The mixed bed can be divided into single bed, double bed, polishing bed and double bed, which can be used in series to improve the water quality and effectively use the exchange capacity of resin. When the production water consumption is large, the mixed bed can be used in parallel, and the operation is quite flexible and convenient. The effluent conductivity is monitored by a high-precision resistivity meter. Ion exchange process: cation resin reaction R-H + + Na + → r-na + + H + anion resin reaction R-OH - + Cl - → r-cl - + OH resin regeneration process: cation resin reaction r-na + + H + → R-H + + Na + anion resin reaction r-cl - + OH - → R-OH - + Cl-.
Mixed bed regeneration:
Preparation before regeneration: 1. Check that all valves of the invalid mixed bed are closed tightly. 2. High level of regeneration water tank, high level of mixed bed acid and alkali metering tank. 3. The primary desalting system operates normally with sufficient compressed air, and contact the shift supervisor to prepare the gas. 4. The pressure gauge, flow meter and temperature gauge are put into normal operation.
